Obama Reads Where the Wild Things Are

While it might lack the majesty of Jesse Jackson reading Green Eggs and Ham, I’ve always felt that the power of Obama’s oratory is in its poignancy, not in its showmanship. I don’t know if this kind of a thing is a habit for Presidents – but he couldn’t have chosen a better book at a better time.  For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, check out the trailer for Spike Jonze’s adaptation of the classic Maurice Sendak book:
