Legend of the Guardians - Warner Bros.
I'm hoping that this turns out like Watership Down with Owls - and if anyone can pull it off it's Zack Snyder. - Steve

Release Date: September 10th, 2010

The Runaways - Apparition
I love rock bio-pics. And I think this may be one of the coolest ones to date. Mainly because Floria Sigismondi is at the helm and she is one of my favorite music video directors and this seems perfect for her. Add in Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning and you got a potential hit. - Brian

Release Date: March 19th, 2010

A Nightmare on Elm Street - New Line Cinema
I know that I don't usually go in for this kind of stuff, but Jackie Earle Haley is on fire these days (hey, that's clever!), and I'm way more fond of horror films when there's an element of fantasy involved - it means they can get away with all kinds of stuff without me saying "As if!" - Steve

Release Date: April 30th, 2010

Get Him to the Greek - Universal Pictures
I always find it intriguing when two supporting characters in a film get a spin-off. But I have high hopes for this pairing as I think Jonah Hill is a blast and Russel Brand is the real deal. I don't know if he acts or just plays a variation of himself. Should be a fun time. - Brian

Release Date: June 4th, 2010

The Last Airbender - Paramount
Whatever I was saying about the doubtful prospects for this movie before, I will totally retract after seeing this trailer. No matter what kind of Shyamalending they come up with, it's got the proper visual spectacle to keep me impressed. - Steve

Release Date: July 2nd, 2010

The Losers - Warner Bros.
This movie looks like fun with a capital F. It's always a good time having Idris Elba around, and match him up with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and we're getting somewhere. - Steve

Release Date: April 9th, 2010

Cemetery Junction - Columbia Pictures
The newest foray into feature films by the genius behind the UK Office. Its the first film directed and written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and that is all it takes to get me excited about it. - Brian

Release Date: April 14th, 2010

Cyrus - Fox Searchlight
This looks like a good outing from Jonah Hill and John C Reilly.Nobody plays a disgruntled man child quite as well as Hill. I am looking forward to this awkward journey. - Brian

Release Date: January 23rd, 2010

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps - 20th Century Fox
There was a time when I complained about Hollywood's pathetic obsession with recycling old material. But now that they've sifted through all the garbage, they're finally getting to the good stuff. The cell phone gag in this trailer, brings it all together. - Steve

Release Date: April 23rd, 2010

MacGruber - Rogue Pictures
This is one of my favorite current SNL sketches. Even though they are only like 30 secs long. Most people aren't too hyped about skits becoming movies but with Jorma Taccone at the helm this should be funny. Pretty good red band trailer. - Brian

Release Date: April 23rd, 2010

Chloe - Sony Pictures Classics
A very sexy little film from everyone's favourite peddlar of dysfunction, Atom Egoyan. - Steve

Release Date: March 19th, 2010

Green Zone - Universal Pictures
There's also an international version of this trailer, but I like this one best because it seems to paint a picture of the movie that might not be entirely accurate. Also, good things happen when Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon work together. - Steve

Release Date: March 12th, 2010

Cop Out - Warner Bros.
I am a life long fan of Kevin Smith movies. And this is half a Smith movie. He directed but didn't write it. A first time for everything I guess. Willis is always good as a cop and Morgan can be funny when he attaches himself to actual funny people. This is also supposed to be a lot bluer then the trailer shows. But then again, thats what makes it a Kevin Smith movie. - Brian

Release Date: February 26th, 2010

She's Out of My League - Paramount
This has some of the makings of a "Failure to Launch" style comedy, but Jay Baruchel rules and the trailer definitely gets funnier as it goes along. - Steve

Release Date: March 12th, 2010

Inception - Warner Bros.
Completely original, completely confusing, completely a film from Christopher Nolan. I'm not sure I get all of what's going on, and I think that's great - a movie helping me stay ignorant of the plot. - Steve
