OMFG I am so freakin’ psyched after watching this trailer! The visuals are spectacular, the angle on the story feels compelling, and it looks like Ryan Reynolds is on the right track with a slightly Tony Stark-esque take on the Hal Jordan character.
Keep a sharp eye out for Mark Strong in there. A nice quick trailer cameo here.

I know people are griping about the unfinished CG but I like the look of this trailer. Reynolds seems like a good fit and I’m excited to see it, especially with Campbell directing and Mark Strong in it.
Although it’s tough to shake the Nathan Fillion fan made trailer from my head:P

Yeah, I can’t deny there are some pixels missing in some of this animation – but the trailer is spot-on for the vibe I’m hoping for. Peter Parker optimism crossed with some Tony Stark playboy-ness. It’s about time we had a superhero movie that actually had a traditional “good guy” in the captain’s chair. I’m gonna need another couple doses before the release arrives, but this is a good start to get the hype machine rolling.
