Here is mid-quality video of our introduction of Barry Pepper at the Victoria Film Festival screening of Like Dandelion Dust, starring Mira Sorvino, Cole Hauser and, you guessed it, Barry Pepper. Our fingers are crossed for another chance to do something like this next year… or this year! Heck, the festival’s on for another 7 days, anything could happen!

Now I need to see ‘Like Dandelion Dust’, and see what it’s all about! Seriously guys, it’s a pretty big deal to do an intro for a film festival. I also saw that you guys are posting much more video. Personally, I really enjoy it. I think that readers love to feel a connection with writers, and video is probably the best way to do it.

Thanks a lot, Josh! This was a lot of fun, no matter how many hoops we had to jump through to get there. Barry was a really cool guy – who I actually had a chance to speak to during the screening when the sound went out and I had to flag down the projectionist to fix it. I haven’t been too sure about posting so much video on the site – we’ve got access to a lot of it these past few weeks, and since this website was originally meant to sell a TV show version of The Film Cynics, it seems kind of fitting. I’m glad it adds something to the experience.
